Kitchener Rangers look to rebound against Windsor in Game 3

The Kitchener Rangers have a steep hill to climb, but will get a boost from their fans on Monday night in Game 3 of the second-round series against the Windsor Spitfires.

The Blueshirts trail in the series 2-0 after a pair of heavy defeats in Windsor, including a 5-1 loss on Saturday night.

The Rangers’ offence was firing on all cylinders in Round 1 against the Flint Firebirds but has only managed 19 shots and one goal in each of their Round 2 games.

During the regular season, the Rangers lost their first two games against Windsor but won their final two in the four-game season series.

The Rangers will look to keep history from repeating itself, as they were swept in the second round of last year’s playoffs by the London Knights.

Monday’s game can be heard on 570 NewsRadio with Mike Farwell and Paul Fixter. The pre-game starts at 6:30 p.m.
