Barn fire leads to road closure in Wilmot

A barn fire in Wilmot led to a road closure on Thursday afternoon.

As of about 1 p.m., Bleams Road was closed between Queen Street and Sandhills Road as emergency crews responded to the scene.

Waterloo Regional Police confirmed there’s no reported injuries relating to the fire, but no further details were immediately available.

It’s not clear when Bleams Road will reopen in the area and drivers were told to plan an alternate route.
