Whether it’s fishing at Guelph Lake, heading to Canada’s largest outdoor pool at Byng Island, or taking the family down a scenic hike at the Elora Gorge, nothing says summer like camping near Waterloo Region.
Starting on Tuesday, booking opens for camping with the Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA).
Camping is available at eight conservation areas near Waterloo Region and Guelph, featuring scenic tent and trailer camping, freshwater beaches, and hiking trails.
The booking for those popular sites opens at 8 a.m. on Tuesday. Most sites begin their season on May 1 and run until the mid-October.
