Reports of people sprayed with bear mace in Uptown Waterloo

Police are investigating after a “large disturbance” in Uptown Waterloo early Friday morning.

Officers were called at around 2:10 a.m. to a business on King Street North near Princess Street East. Police determined that two unknown males sprayed multiple people with bear mace before they left the area.

The victims sustained minor injuries.

Officials are now looking for anyone with information that could help them find the suspects.

Anyone with information or video footage of the incident is asked to call police at 519-570-9777, extension 6370.
