Charges have been laid after a Waterloo driver allegedly fled a 3:00 a.m. police pullover.
Waterloo Regional Police say it happened early Thursday morning when they tried to stop a minivan on Wilmot Line near Wilby Road, not far from the western border of Waterloo.
Police say the grey Dodge Caravan had licence plates that did not belong to it.
When the officer attempted to stop the vehicle, it sped away.
Police soon found it again though in Waterloo, around Salzburg Drive and Munich Circle, not far from where they tried to pull it over.
The 42-year-old driver from Waterloo is now facing nine charges, including flight from a peace officer; dangerous operation; and drug possession.
