Stomach flu cases more than double at U of G

Cases of the stomach flu continue to spread among students at the University of Guelph.
On Monday, 60 cases were reported and as of Thursday, that number has more than doubled with 150 known cases of the bug, specifically in University residences.
Most of the cases remain in South Residence.
The University is once again urging students to avoid large social gatherings that could spread the illness even further, and asking everyone to wash hands and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
The school is working alongside Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health to tackle the growing numbers of cases.
