Suspects carry hammers in Cambridge armed robbery

Waterloo Regional Police Service responded to the aftermath of a robbery Friday where hammers were used to steal merchandise.

It happened in Cambridge in the area of Franklin Boulevard and Saginaw Parkway around 12:30 p.m.

Two masked male suspects allegedly entered a store and used hammers to smash open displays and take a large amount of beauty products.

They then fled the scene in a grey Honda CRV before police could arrive. There were no reports of any injuries from the incident.
