Rangers go into holiday break with a victory over Ottawa

Christmas came early for Kitchener Rangers fans as the boys in blue topped the visiting Ottawa 67’s on Friday by a score of 6-3.
Rangers rookie Haeden Ellis finished the night with first-star honours after recording his first OHL goal and first multi-point game of his career. Jack Labrash also finished with his first multi-point game of his career and goaltender Jackson Parsons finished with his 19th win of the season.

The Rangers go into the holiday break with a record of 23-7-2-1, finishing second in the Midwest Division, third in the Western Conference and third overall in the OHL.
The Rangers get a well deserved break for the holidays over the next week before heading out to Sudbury to take on the Wolves on Dec. 29 and then the North Bay Battalion on Dec. 31.
