Shooting at homes in Cambridge a ‘targeted incident’: WRPS

More information has been released about a shooting in Cambridge that saw numerous homes hit by bullets this week.

Waterloo Regional Police are treating the shooting as a targeted incident, saying the investigation is ongoing.

On Wednesday morning, police responded to reports of “damage caused by a firearm” to homes in the Munch Avenue and Sekura Street area.

There were visible holes in the front door of a home and at least two other homes near the back of Munch Avenue.

Regional police said there are no descriptions of any suspect(s) in connection with the case, and no arrests have been made.

No one was hurt in the shooting that is believed to happened around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
