Police make two arrests in Kitchener stabbing investigation

Two arrests have been made after a stabbing in Kitchener nearly two months ago.

It happened on the afternoon of Oct. 6 around 5:30 a.m. as a male victim was found in the Victoria and St. Leger Street area with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police previously released photos of individuals they were trying to identify in connection with their investigation.

On Tuesday, officers searched a residence in Cambridge and made two arrests.

A 27-year-old Cambridge woman has been charged with accessory after the fact of aggravated assault and will appear in court in early January 2025.

In addition, a 27-year-old Cambridge man has been charged with aggravated assault and numerous weapons offences.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
