More than $21,000 worth of high-end bicycles stolen from Kitchener recovered, charges laid

Several high-end bicycles, worth more than $21,000 and allegedly stolen in Kitchener, have been recovered by police.

Waterloo Regional Police say the six bikes were stolen between Oct. 4 and 22, from downtown Kitchener and the Centreville neighbourhood.

A 35-year-old man from Kitchener, a 42-year-old man from Waterloo, and a 34-year-old man whose city is not specified by police, have been arrested and face mutliple charges.

Those include charges related to theft and possession of stolen property.

Five of the bikes have been returned to the owners, but police can’t find the owner of the remaining bike.

It’s an olive green Norco mountain bike.

Police remind all bicycle owners to take photos of their bike and its serial number to help officers return that bike in case it’s ever stolen.
