Elmira jewellery store closing before centennial milestone

“Everything must go,” is one of the signs in the display of Hartman Jewellers in Elmira.
One of the owners posted a photo to a Facebook group for Woolwich residents Oct. 2 that showed the store is set to close.
Hartman Jewellers is just a few years shy of its 100th anniversary.
Back in June, the store was the target of a break-and-enter where suspects allegedly broke a glass door and stole merchandise that was on display.
The Facebook post gave no reason for the closure.
CityNews Kitchener reached out to the owners and have not received a response before publication.
