Three young teens from GTA arrested after armed robbery in Kitchener

Three young boys, between the ages of 14 and 15 years old have been arrested after an alleged armed robbery in Kitchener.

Waterloo Regional Police say Sunday afternoon, around 4 p.m., they were called to a business near Ottawa Street South and Fischer Hallman Road.

That’s right by the Sunrise Shopping Centre in Kitchener.

Police were told the three teens stole from a store in the area, and during the robbery shot a gun before driving away.

No one was hurt.

Regional police coordinated with the Ontario Provincial Police to track down a suspect vehicle, which was found a short time later in Peel Region.

All three young teens are from the Greater Toronto Area and have since been arrested.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to reach out to police.
