Kitchener Rangers hockey is just around the corner with training camp about to begin

With the 2024-2025 season around the corner, training camp is set to start for the Kitchener Rangers.

It will take place at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex on Monday, Aug. 26 and Tuesday, Aug. 27. There will be pre-season off-ice performance testing during the camp which will be closed to the public.

However, fans can pack the Aud for free to catch two games between two training camp rosters (Team Blue and Team White).

Game 1 is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Monday and game 2 is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Both games a subject to change.

The Rangers also host a preseason showcase from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 following training camp.

During this time, games will be played with the Spirit, Otters, Bulldogs as well as the Rangers. Tickets will be $5 and can be purchased at the door. Net proceeds from ticket sales will go to Make-A-Wish Canada.

To conclude the preseason, fans can get a chance to meet the Rangers players, sign autographs and take part in a number of different activites at Fan Fest on Sept 1. That event is free for everyone.
