One in hospital following serious collision in Waterloo; charges pending

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a serious collision in the Erbsville Road and Columbia Forest Boulevard area that sent a Waterloo woman to hospital.

It was around 7:40 p.m. when emergency crews responded to reports of a crash between a pedestrian and an Infiniti vehicle.

The pedestrian, a 45-year-old woman from Waterloo, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital

The driver of the Infiniti, a 30-year-old Waterloo woman, was not physically harmed.

The investigation is being handled by the Traffic Services Unit’s investigators, that say charges are anticipated.
