Cambridge road reopens following emergency closure

Blair Road in Cambridge has reopened following an emergency road closure as crews repaired a damaged hydro pole.

According to Waterloo Regional Police, Blair Road was closed until around 8 a.m. on Monday between Langdon Drive and George Street due to repairs to a hydro pole in the area.

A vehicle collided with the pole on Monday morning around 12:15 a.m.

The driver received minor injuries in the incident and was charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
