Waterloo pedestrian dies in Perth County crash

A pedestrian from Waterloo is dead, following a crash, about thirty minutes west of Elmira.

Perth County OPP say the crash, involving a male pedestrian and one vehicle happened on Perth Road 131 north of Milverton late Tuesday night around 11 p.m.

Perth Road 131 between Line 67 and Line 72 was closed for several hours for the investigation.

A spokesperson with Perth County OPP says the driver remained at the scene of the crash but could not say whether or not charges will be laid.

There is little known about the crash at this time, just that a 47-year-old man from Waterloo was pronounced dead at the scene.
