New soccer complex set to open in Cambridge

A day of sports, music, and fun for the whole family on Sunday in Cambridge as the city celebrates the grand opening of a brand-new soccer complex.
The new multi-field complex by the City of Cambridge will open at 880 Linden Dr., near the corner of Fountain Street.
A ribbon cutting will kick festivities off at 10 a.m., with a live performance by local rock group ‘Shy Harry‘ at 10:30 a.m.
Shortly after, there will be an exhibition match between the Conestoga Condors, then soccer skills and drills with the mascots, and even some rugby.
For the kids, there will be an inflatable obstacle course, a bullseye soccer inflatable target, face painting, and mascot meet-and-greets.
The event runs until 2 p.m.
