Kitchener Rangers announce date for home opener

The Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club have announced details of its home opener for the upcoming 2024-25 Ontario Hockey League (OHL) regular season.

The Rangers will host the Erie Otters Friday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.

Regular season tickets will go on sale on Monday, June 17 at 10 a.m.

The full schedule is anticipated to be released next week. You can catch every Kitchener Rangers hockey game on CityNews 570 with Mike Farwell and Paul Fixter.

The Rangers eliminated the Erie Otters in the first round of the playoffs before being eliminated by the London Knights in the second round.
