Kitchener stabbing leads to serious injuries, police investigating

Police are investigating an early-morning stabbing in Kitchener that sent a man to hospital with serious injuries.

According to Waterloo Regional Police, the stabbing happened on Thursday morning at about 1:50 a.m. at a residence in the area of Stanley Avenue and Bloomingdale Road.

When officers arrived, they found a 38-year-old man with stab wounds. He was taken to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.

Police believe the man is a victim of a targeted incident.
