Ira Needles highlighted again in CAA Worst Roads campaign

Another year, another unwanted designation for Ira Needles Boulevard in Waterloo.
The roadway made the top five, worst roads in the western region of the province for a second year in a row.
This is according to the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA), which has released the results of its annual Worst Roads Campaign.
There were no local roads in the Top 10 list.
That included numerous roads in the GTA and Hamilton.
Aberdeen Avenue in Hamilton topped the list.
For Waterloo Region, Brant, Huron, Middlesex, Norfolk, Oxford, Perth Counties: York Road in Guelph topped the list.
Construction plaguing York Road had it at the top of the list last year as well.
Here are the top five worst roads in western region:
1. York Road, Guelph
2. Adelaide Street North, London
3. York Street, London
4. Ira Needles Boulevard, Waterloo
5. Adelaide Street South, London
