Local women honoured at 49th annual K-W Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year awards

Some of the most powerful, influential, and amazing females in Waterloo Region gathered at Bingemans Thursday night, for the 49th annual Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year awards.

The sold-out crowd of over 700 people, heard from 12 category winners.

This included the inaugural skilled trades award.

It was another record-breaking year, with 123 nominations submitted.
