ION service restored following collision in Kitchener

Service has been restored to the ION after a crash Monday morning.

According to Grand River Transit service was disrupted just before 9 a.m. between Grand River Hospital Station and Mill Street Station due to a collision.

Additionally, service between Block Line Station and Mill Station was reduced to one track in both directions for about 30 minutes.

Replacement shuttles were also dispatched to ease the disruption to transit riders.
