Fog advisory issued for Waterloo Region

Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for Waterloo Region and surrounding areas.
The weather authority says to expect areas of dense fog throughout the day with near zero visibility at times.
They say the fog could lift later tonight as rain passes through the region this afternoon.
If visibility is reduced while driving, you’re asked to turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
