Police investigating car-jacking in Waterloo

A car-jacking in Waterloo has sparked a police investigation.

Just before 7 a.m. Saturday morning officers responded to the area of Harvard Place and Bluevale Street North for reports of a car-jacking.

After investigating, they discovered a 52-year-old Waterloo woman was approached while sitting in her vehicle.

A man waved what appeared to be a firearm at the woman and then stole her vehicle. She was not hurt in the incident.
