Rangers acquire goaltender Tristan Malboeuf from Brantford
The Kitchener Rangers and the Brantford Bulldogs have hooked up for a trade on the eve of the Rangers home and season opener.
Goaltender Tristan Malboeuf has been acquired by the Rangers in exchange for a conditional 7th round pick in the 2026 OHL Priority Selection and a conditional 5th round pick in the 2027 OHL Priority Selection.
“We are excited to welcome Tristan to the team,” said Kitchener Rangers General Manager Mike McKenzie in a release. “He has experience in the league and will solidify our goaltending position by having two very strong options. It’s such an important position and having both Tristan and Jackson will give us a chance to win in all 68 games this season.”
