KW Oktoberfest releases Thanksgiving weekend details

By CityNews Kitchener Staff

As we approach Thanksgiving weekend, KW Oktoberfest is providing more details on what to expect in the Region.

Some of the highlights include a return of KIDtobefest to THEMUSEUM in downtown Kitchener, and for the first time, the furry members of your family can also celebrate with the inaugural DOGtoberfest held all weekend at Carl Zehr Square in front of Kitchener City Hall.

As per usual, all weekend long, the downtown core of Kitchener will also be transformed into a “bustling Bavarian village” for Willkommen Platz and the King Street Vendor Market.

The weekend will cap off with the big Thanksgiving Day Parade which will start at 8:30 a.m. at the corner of Weber Street East and Frederick Street in Kitchener, moving along Weber to Bridgeport Plaza in Waterloo.

Details on tickets and VIP admissions for each event can be found here.
