Kitchener Rangers announce details of 2023 training camp

The Kitchener Rangers have announced the details of their 2023 training camp – ahead of a return to the ice for the 2023-24 season.

Training camp events are set to begin next week, with a full slate of events at the Aud running from Aug. 29 through Aug. 31.

The camp kicks off with practice and on-ice testing for both ‘Team Blue’ and ‘Team White’ on Tuesday, at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. respectively.

From there, fans are invited to enjoy games between Team Blue and Team White on both Wednesday and Thursday, on the following schedule.

Wednesday, Aug. 30:

  • 10:00 a.m. – GAME – Team Blue vs. Team White
  • 7:00 p.m. – GAME – Team Blue vs. Team White

 

Thursday, Aug. 31: 

  • 10:00 a.m. – GAME – Team Blue vs. Team White

 

All practices and games will be taking place at the Aud, open to the public and free of charge to attend.

As the 2023 training camp concludes, the Kitchener Rangers will be welcoming R-Town back to the Aud for the free Fan Fest and Barbecue event – from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Parking Lot A.

Visitors will be able to meet their favourite players and receive autographs, while also enjoying attractions like inflatable games and rides.

The team’s first exhibition game of the 2023-24 season vs. the Oshawa Generals will kick off shortly afterward.

Tickets for the first game of the season can be purchased for $5 during the Fan Fest event at the Kitchener Rangers tent, with proceeds from ticket sales donated to Make-A-Wish Canada.

The Kitchener Ranges begin the regular season on Friday, Sept. 29, hosting the Saginaw Spirit with puck drop set for 7 p.m.
