Single vehicle collision closes Wabanaki Drive in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police closed a section of Wabanaki Drive in Kitchener on Thursday afternoon following a single-vehicle collision.

The crash happened around 12:55 p.m. near Wilson Avenue.

Police said the involved vehicle left the roadway, struck a pole, and then rolled.

The driver and lone occupant was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing and hydro repairs are needed.

Wabanaki Drive was closed between Goodrich Drive and Wilson Avenue.
