FordFest coming to Kitchener

Doug Ford is bringing his annual summer family BBQ event known as FordFest to Kitchener.

The Premier’s BBQ for his loyal followers will hit the road with stops in Windsor and London in August and then land in Waterloo Region in early September.

Ford will be coming to Bingemans on Sept. 8 and the event will be co-hosted by the Ontario PC party.

A party spokesperson says FordFest is “an opportunity to meet and engage with the people of Kitchener”.

FordFest will be in London on Aug. 20. The annual Scarborough event was held back in late June.

There is speculation Ford could use the opportunity to announce the by-election for the currently absent seat of Kitchener-Centre.
