Ribfest returns for 20th anniversary

It’s a finger lickin’ good weekend!
The Kitchener Ribfest and Craft Beer Show has returned.
The popular event is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary.
Along with delicious ribs and chicken, there will also be a number of craft breweries to sample.
Admission is free to those attending, but the event is 19 plus, and anyone younger must be accompanied by an adult.
The event will be collecting donations for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region.
Last year’s event raised over $14,500 and 700 pounds of food.
The Food Bank said that for every dollar donated, they will be able to provide two meals for people in need.
Ribfest continues in Victoria Park Saturday from 12 p.m. until 10 p.m, and Sunday from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m.
