Express lanes closing between Winston Churchill and Credit View

Starting Wednesday, the Express lanes on the Eastbound 401 between Winston Churchill Boulevard and Credit View Road will be closed.

The closure is due to construction taking place as part of the Highway 401 expansion project.

While initial plans had indicated the Express lanes would reopen on June 28, developers behind the project said on Tuesday that our recent stretch of wet weather has impeded construction activity.

An updated construction notice from West Corridor Constructors now shows the Express lanes will remain closed until Friday, June 30 at 12 p.m.

The collector lanes between Winston Churchill and Credit View remain open.
