Revolutionizing the game of golf and providing accessible opportunities for all ages and skill levels

Now with two locations (Kitchener and Waterloo), Golfplay is revolutionizing the golf experience for all ages and skill levels. Their indoor golf facilities offer state-of-the-art golf simulator bays, an indoor driving range “The Range”, over 200 courses to choose from, incredible analytics, great food, drinks and fun for everyone!

As the only indoor golf facility in Canada to partner with Golf Canada’s First Tee program, Golfplay is committed to providing accessible opportunities to everyone, especially youth from lower-income communities. First Tee is a youth development program that begins programming in July and uses golf to teach life skills and promote positive coach/participant relationships.

In addition to its partnership with First Tee, Golfplay also works with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Waterloo Region, providing complimentary one-hour sessions at The Range with rental clubs for Bigs and Littles. The facility is also dedicated to providing accessible opportunities for junior and adult adapted golfers through group programs available with ParaGolf Canada.

PGA of Canada Class “A” Professional and Director of Skills Development at Golfplay Coach Natalie Gleadall leads the instructional team. She says, “The Range at Golfplay Waterloo is a fun, inclusive, welcoming environment for all. The Golfzon GDR system is very user friendly providing fantastic feedback and swing data as well as several ways to improve your skills through contests and on-course practice play options.”

She adds, “The PelzPlayers 2,500 square foot indoor putting green has every putt you can imagine, helping to sharpen your distance control and groove in your putting stroke!”

Coach Natalie  has a passion for growing the game of golf and is excited to share her knowledge with Golfplayers using a fun and interactive teaching approach. She was recently awarded the 2021 PGA of Ontario Apprentice Professional of the Year and the 2022 PGA of Ontario Women’s Player of the Year.

Prior to joining the PGA of Canada, Natalie worked as an Inclusion Support Coordinator for the City of Kitchener running Golf Fore Life, a dementia-friendly golf program. She has a passion for helping others and being a part of the community, making Golfplay’s various community outreach initiatives very exciting for Natalie.

Need lessons? Golfplay offers lessons using Golfzon GDR simulators, which are the number one rated simulator in the world! Lessons are 55-minutes long and include a CoachNow post-session swing analysis as well as a slow-motion video replay, annotations and voiceovers by Coach Natalie.

During the winter and spring season Golfplay offers group lessons for all skill levels, including:

  • The Breakfast Club on Tuesdays;
  • Women’s Group on Wednesdays;
  • Tips & Sips on Thursdays; and
  • Golfplay Juniors on Saturdays.

Group lesson packages are available all year round and include Playing Lesson Experience for one to three students and DIY clinics for four to six students. Space is limited for each program, so be sure to sign up as soon as possible to ensure you don’t miss out!

Golfplay is also the indoor practice facility for Laurier Men’s and Women’s Golf, as it is conveniently located closed to the university and provides training indoors where weather is never an issue and the technology is second to none.

Using state of the art technology, experienced golfers will enjoy a challenging game to help improve their skills, while less experienced golfers have the choice of beginner courses and easier game formats. With the goal of making golf fun for everyone, Golfplay offers a range of instructional plans to help players reach their golfing goals.

Tee up a great time for everyone at Golfplay!
