E-scooters and e-bikes riding into Waterloo Region

Coming soon to a route near you, e-scooters and e-bikes.
The Region of Waterloo says the new share program starts on April 14.

It will see up to 500 e-bikes and 500 e-scooters available for rent until the end of October.
Neuron Mobility will run the program around Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge.

The Region says it’s a new green way to get around and will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and encourage active transportation.
All of the scooters and e bikes will come with helmets, and will work alongside an app.
These e-bikes and e-scooters will pop up at 150 locations.
