ION back to regular schedule Thursday

ION light rail service has returned to business as usual, after a disruption since Wednesday afternoon due to weather conditions.

Grand River Transit said Thursday morning that trains are back to their regular schedule between Conestoga Station and Fairway Station.

Shuttle buses had to be used on part of the ION route Wednesday afternoon and evening due to the snow and freezing rain.

9:00 AM : The ION light rail service disruption between Conestoga Station and Fairway Station has ended. Light rail service will return to the regular schedule shortly.
