Assault on Wilfrid Laurier campus injures one

Police are continuing to investigate an assault at Wilfrid Laurier University.

On Feb. 10, police received a report of an assault that took place on Jan. 16, at approximately 3 p.m., on the university campus. 

The victim reported that they were assaulted while walking in the hallway of a building. They suffered non-life-threatening physical injuries. 

Investigators believe that this was a targeted incident. 

The investigation is ongoing.
