Weber St. reopens in Waterloo following collision (update)

Regional police continue to investigate a collision involving a cyclist in the Weber Street North area of Waterloo.
That collision occurred on Wednesday morning around 7:45 a.m., resulting in a lengthy closure on Weber Street North between Lodge Street and Noecker Street.
The involved cyclist, identified by police as a 44-year-old man from Waterloo, was transported by air ambulance to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, a 65-year-old woman from Waterloo, was not injured in the collision.
Weber Street North has since reopened to traffic.
Any possible witnesses to the collision are asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
