Panthers to open playoffs in Welland Thursday

The Kitchener Panthers will open the 2022 IBL playoffs in Welland on Thursday evening.
The game is set to get underway at 7:30 p.m.
Kitchener will then host Game 2 on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
The remaining schedule for the best-of-five series is posted below:
GAME 3: Saturday, Aug. 27 at Welland, 7 p.m.
*GAME 4: Sunday, Aug. 28 at Kitchener, 4 p.m.
*GAME 5: Tuesday, Aug. 30 at Welland, 7:30 p.m.
*(If necessary)
Wednesday’s one-game pennant playoff in London between the Majors and Guelph Royals was postponed, so those two teams will try again to get the game in on Thursday.
The winner will clinch the top seed and face Brantford in the first round. The loser will finish second and play Hamilton.
