Hate-motivated graffiti spotted throughout Huron Natural Area

Hate-motivated graffiti has been found at another Kitchener park.

Police were notified on Monday, but believe the incident happened sometime between Sunday and Monday.

Hate-motivated graffiti was spotted throughout Huron Natural Area, which is located at 801 Trillium Drive.

It was spray-painted on posts, signs, and trees.

Police say hate-related symbols were included.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

There's been a recent rise in hate-related incidents. 

In the past few days, hateful graffiti has also been found at Victoria Park and on 14 vehicles in Waterloo.

There are now eight reported incidents of hate-related graffiti in the region this month.

Police tell CityNews 570, there were five incidents in July.
