Kitchener to host first Middle Eastern Festival this weekend

The first-ever Middle Eastern Festival will be taking place in Kitchener this weekend.

It will happen in Carl Zehr Square, outside Kitchener City Hall, from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 13.

Organizers say the event will showcase Arabic culture, music and food.

The festival is being hosted by the The Canadian Arab Women Association (CAWA), in collaboration with the City of Kitchener.
