Puppy stolen from Alliston residence: OPP

By Erin Anderson

Provincial police are searching for a missing puppy.

According to Nottawasaga OPP, two males attended an Alliston residence under the guise they would purchase a puppy, but ended up grabbing the dog and took off without paying.

A 24-year-old Brampton man was arrested and charged a short time later. A second male remains outstanding. He's described as being of South Asian descent and was wearing all-black clothing.

Police said the incident happened in the Treetops Boulevard area of New Tecumseth on Tuesday around 5 p.m.

Anyone with information on the investigation, including the puppy's whereabouts, is asked to call OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
