Kitchener, Waterloo extend snow events another day

The City of Kitchener has extended its snow event until 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, January 19.
It's so staff can complete a full plow of the city after 33 cm of snowfall was recorded.
It means no on-street parking is allowed.
Residents who leave their vehicles parked on the street risk getting an $80 fine and having their vehicles towed.
The snow event has been in place since Sunday evening.
Waterloo's snow event and parking ban is also in place until Wed. night. Cambridge plans on lifting its snow event at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday.
