Massive fire destroys a dozen homes under construction in south Kitchener

A devastating fire has struck down a dozen homes in a new neighbourhood in Kitchener.

The fire destroyed 12 homes under construction in the Huron and Fisher-Hallman area of the city, on Gloria Street, with damage said to be at least over a million dollars.

The blaze also resulted in heat damage for two homes, and six townhouses.

Nobody was hurt, and the cause remains under investigation.
