Vehicle fire snarls traffic on westbound 401 through Cambridge (update)

***Update: All westbound lanes reopened just before 5 p.m. Thursday***

There are major issues on the 401 through Cambridge on Thursday afternoon.

All westbound lanes are blocked near the Cambridge ONroute due to a vehicle fire.

Traffic is crawling from east of Highway 6 North, while eastbound traffic is also slow as motorists slow down to have a look.
