One dead after collision at busy Kitchener intersection (update)

One person is dead, and two drivers were sent to hospital after a serious crash in Kitchener.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Victoria Street South and Fischer-Hallman Road.
Police say a vehicle was trying to turn left, when it was struck by a vehicle that was going westbound on Victoria.
A 25-year-old man — a passenger in the vehicle turning left — was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers of the two vehicles suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The roadway was closed for several hours, but opened up at around 11:00 p.m.
Charges are pending, and the investigation is ongoing.
