A house fire in Waterloo kept crews busy Saturday morning (update)

Regional police and Waterloo firefighters were called to a house fire in Waterloo on Saturday.

WRPS says the house fire happened on Columbia Street West, between Hazel Street and Albert Street.

Officials say the house was abandoned.

Waterloo Fire Rescue have turned over the investigation to WRPS.

The fire investigation is currently ongoing, and a team from the Ontario Fire Marshal's office have been dispatched to help with the probe.
