Power outage in Kitchener (update)

***Power restored as of 8:50 a.m. Tuesday***

Just over 1,600 customers are in the dark in Kitchener.

KW Hydro is reporting a power outage in the Victoria Street and Lackner Boulevard area Tuesday morning.

There's no cause known.

Hydro crews estimate power to return at 11:15 a.m.
