This week's virtual 'Kids in The Kitchen Cooking Class' will be extra special.
The online initiative is put on by The City of Kitchener and the theme for the latest installment is – Mother's Day!
Kids can learn how to make a homemade granola parfait for mom, and raspberry granola bars.
The City said parents can RSVP on its Facebook page or kids can do it themselves, if they're allowed.
They can look over all the ingredients and equipment needed, and on Saturday morning at 10 a.m., they can tune in to learn how to make mom a special breakfast this Sunday.
Our first virtual Kids in the Kitchen is this Saturday with a Mother's Day theme where we'll be making breakfast. This class is free and a live stream in the Facebook event.
