Petro-Canada is confirming a worker at a Cambridge gas station has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a statement released on Facebook, they say the employee works at the station at 300 St. Andrews Street, and their last shift on site was on April 8.
They say any co-workers that may have been exposed are self-isolating for 14 days.
“We immediately closed the location and will complete a deep-clean and sanitization before reopening the site,” the statement adds.
“Out of an abundance of caution, we will be reaching out to known guests of the site, and in the vicinity of the site.”
Petro-Canada says if you do have any concerns, you're asked to contact public health and speak with a health professional.
