Cameron Heights Pool closure to continue

As you may be aware, the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF) is currently engaged in province-wide labour negotiations. As a result of ongoing job action by OSSTF, all evening and weekend community use of schools operated by the Waterloo Region District Schoolboard (WRDSB) will be cancelled starting on February 1, 2020 for seven calendar days.
Update from WRDSB: all evening and weekend community use of schools will be cancelled starting on February 8, 2020 for seven calendar days.
The cancellations will be reassessed February 7, 2020 to take effect February 15, 2020 for another 7 calendar days. Each week the impact of labour sanctions will be assessed in a similar fashion.
Cameron Heights Pool will be closed until Feb. 14. Registered users and renters will be contacted by staff. Call 519-741-2482 or subscribe to the Cameron Heights Pool page for updates.
